Kick It Out is our educational initiative that uses football as a vehicle to tackle discrimination and promote inclusion among young people in Montpellier and the surrounding region.
The Program
Working in partnership with local schools, we deliver interactive workshops that address racism, sexism, homophobia, and other forms of discrimination. Our sessions combine classroom discussions with practical football activities, helping students understand the importance of respect and teamwork both on and off the pitch.
Led by Role Models
Our workshops are led by MHSC Féminines players and staff, providing young people with positive role models who share their own experiences and demonstrate that success comes from embracing diversity.
Measuring Success
Post-workshop surveys show significant improvements in students' understanding of discrimination and their commitment to creating inclusive environments. Teachers report positive changes in classroom behavior and increased empathy among participating students.
Expanding Our Reach
This year, we're expanding Kick It Out to reach more secondary schools across the region, with a focus on areas where discrimination is most prevalent. We're also developing new materials for younger age groups.
